PIESL Key Dates
Months 1-2

  • Arrive on Sunday Aug 5
  • Sessions start Monday Aug 6
  • End Friday Oct 6

Month 3

  • Sat/Sun 6-7 Oct: Travel to Apprenticeship location
  • Mon 8 Oct: First Apprenticeship placement
  • Sat 3 Nov: End of first Apprenticeship

Month 4-5 (7 weeks)

Option 1: Possibility for two 3.5 week apprenticeships

  • Sun 11 Nov: Travel
  • Mon 12 Nov: Second Apprenticeship starts
  • Fri 30 Nov: End of second Apprenticeship
    Mon 3 Dec: Third Apprenticeship starts
  • Sat 29 Dec: End of third apprenticeship

Option 2: One 7 week apprenticeship

  • Mon 12 Nov: Second Apprenticeship starts
  • Sat 29 Dec: End of second apprenticeship

Month 6 (Jan) Inspiration, Integration & Reflection

  • Thurs 3 Jan: Start of Inspiration, Integration, & Reflection
  • Thurs 31 Jan: End of Inspiration, Integration, & Reflection

Month 7-9 (Feb-Apr) Entrepreneurship Track or Apprenticeship Specialization

  • Mon 4 Feb: Start
  • Sat 27 Apr: End

Month 10 & 11 (May-June) Capstone Experience & Portfolio Creation

  • Mon 29 Apr: Start of Capstone Experience & Portfolio Creation
  • Sat 29 June:   End of PIESL Program!
Daily Routine @ Puvidham :
5am Wake-up
5am – 7 am – Cooking | Morning Learning Activities
7 am – 8.30 – Personal Time
8.30 am – 1.30 pm – Community Work & Exploring new skills
1.30 pm to 2.30pm – Lunch
3.30 pm – 6.30 pm – Community Work & Exploring new Skills
6.30 pm to 8 pm – Cooking | Evening Reading
8pm to 9pm – Dinner
10pm – Lights Off.
Programme Terms & Conditions :
1. 100% Attendance ( Can be relaxed only under exceptional circumstances)
2.  We strongly discourage Smoking & Drinking during the entire course. We believe Sustainable Living starts with your own body and its wellness.
3. Daily Diary Maintenance of Every day Activities recommended
4. Dress Code during the course has to be sensitive to the local community.
5. Accommodation will be in dormitories separate for men and women.
6. Self-Directed Learning
7. Community Work (Cooking, Cleaning of the Premises & other chores to be self-managed in turns by the students themselves during their stay)
